Daffodil

Daffodil (Easter Lily)

I had a hard time photographing the Daffodils this year. I’m not able to walk off the hill anymore, so I don’t get down there as often as I would like. This day it was already evening, and I was loosing light, by the time I could get there. Then I couldn’t really navigate the steep bank to get the shots I wanted. So I didn’t get great pictures. But I liked this one. It makes a nice, relaxing desktop background.

Spider on a Daffodil

I don’t know what type of spider this is, but I frequently see them on Daffodils.

More Easter Lillies

Some were frost burnt the other night, but they did well.  And there are plenty of new blooms now, just three days later.

Blooms!

I absolutely loved the way that the sunlight was coming through these Easter Lily blooms.  It was really pretty in person.  I did the best I could taking photos.  But it was really difficult for me, as they are on a very steep hillside.  If I could I would have taken more time and gotten better shots, as the setting was perfect.  But I did what I could.

I love to photograph things from non-typical angles.

Easter Lilly buds

Yes, I know they are “daffodils” but to me they are always Easter Lillies.
Whatever you choose to call them, the ones here appear to be budding.  I look forward to these each year as well.
