The American Crow (Corvus brachyrhynchos brachyrhynchos) is a bird that we have a great many of around my house but I rarely seem to get good opportunities to photograph them.   This one was very far away, and it was raining.  But I figured I’d add them here, since I don’t believe I’ve posted any crow photos here before.

I really like crows.  (Yeah I know, there I go again, liking the birds that nobody else likes.)

My uncle raised a pair of orphaned crows when I was a kid and I just loved them.  They really loved us, “their people”, and were extremely personable and smart.
